Favorite Athletic Achievement: Held the 100m Butterfly world record from 2003-2009, and fastest textile suit time until 2016.

Personal Achievement: Through coaching young swimmers I have found something I am more passionate about than my own swimming career.

Why I am Inspired to be a RISE Mentor: I love helping athletes overcome hurdles on their path to success.

What would I tell my 13-year-old self: I wish I could go back and tell myself how to enjoy the process as much as I enjoyed the outcome of my hard work.

Favorite way to focus: I like to get waist deep in hard work that I know will serve my goals.

Best way to rest/recover: The best rest day is a day with a guitar in my hands.
